Sunshine Resort

Sunshine Resort is a family owned and operated resort since 1980 and is located approximately 15 miles northwest of Spooner Wisconsin.  Our 5-acre beautifully landscaped resort is on the clear blue open waters of Big McKenzie Lake, famous for great fishing, swimming and all water sports.  It is our goal and mission to be the best northwoods resort in Wisconsin and to provide our customers with the comforts of home and the amenities of a quality resort.

The Galambos Family takes much pride and makes every effort to ensure that each customer enjoys their stay at Sunshine Resort.  A family member is on the property at all times to serve your needs.

Those who want to taste the local culture (as well as the local brew) find the many taverns and restaurants that circle the lake.  Several of the local pubs feature dancing, karaoke and live music.  The residents of Spooner are very friendly and helpful and make vacationers feel right at home.  The town itself offers a variety of recreational activities including bowling, golfing and movies.  There are grocery stores, clothing stores, antique shops and a wonderful bakery that should not be missed.  In case you forget something while you are in town, there are a number of convenient stores near Sunshine Resort for last minute purchases.
